We are excited to offer Viva Health to employees of Medical West Hospital. We pride ourselves on offering customers competitive benefits, outstanding value, and quality providers. Since we started in 1995, Viva Health has grown to be one of the largest health plans in the State of Alabama. Viva Health is a Member of the UAB Health System.

As a member of Viva Health through Medical West, you have a customized provider network that includes the physicians associated with Medical West and UAB Hospital. You have access to our entire network of OB/GYN, vision, pain management, podiatry, dermatology, allergy/immunology, and chiropractic providers. Medical West members under the age of 18 have access Viva Health’s entire pediatric network. Please see the Medical West provider directory at www.myvivaprovider.com for a list of the plan’s participating providers.
